Day 36: Greenwood

A zero day for both of us. We lazed around and took time for ourselves which was very nice. I'm feeling better but not well enough to hike. Decision time. The best option is for me to go into NYC for a few days to stay at a cheaper hostel while my husband hikes on. I've already hiked NY and in worse conditions so no need to do it again. We will meet up near Pawling after my USCIS appointment. We both know it is the best option but neither of us are happy to be apart from each other for the next few days. We worry for each other and miss our together time.
